Farm Eats: March 26th – March 31st

Morning Y’all! 
Last week we focused on reigning in our monthly budget, especially in the world of groceries & booze (tear). This weekend I’m happy to report I spent exactly $60.33 at our local grocery store – that’s only .33 cents over budget y’all – I couldn’t believe it!
Psst… I have a confession y’all – while that number was spot on, we “failed” as we had to stock up on some larger items at Costco as well. All in all we ended up around $50.00 over budget for the month. I kept thinking, do I just wait until April 1st to buy these things that we genuinely NEED this week just to stay on track? In the end, it’s all about give & take – some months we’re going to make it, some months are aren’t & that’s okay. 
Anywho – 
Here’s what I’m making this morning to make life a bit easier during the work week

Hmm… what’s missing? Oh yea … Saturday! You’ll notice that this week I ended not only on Friday but also on the last day of March, that’s because The Farmer & I have decided to do a mini Whole30 Reset at the beginning of April – surprise!
Our friend Megan over at Second Heart Paleo just finished a mini reset herself & it totally inspired us to do the same. We had, let’s just admit it, a VERY indulgent March & a reset is much needed. I don’t think we’ll end up doing another full round likely just a week or two – but I’m super excited about it & can’t wait to get back into the Whole30 groove of things!
